Is Autoglym good?

Known as one of the respected premium brands, Autoglym make a number of excellent products for keeping your car looking great. Whether this is Fast Glass, Super Resin Polish or other bodywork products.

Does Autoglym Super Resin Polish remove scratches?

Autoglym’s Super Resin Polish (SRP) is famous throughout motoring as a great way to remove minor scratches and scuffs. It can restore any lost gloss to older paintwork and works in conjunction with other products to protect from additional scuffs and scrapes.

Should I wax after applying Autoglym Super Resin Polish

Yes! While SRP does contain a protective wax coating it’s recommended that you apply an additional layer of protection. Autogylm offers a couple of waxes, like High Definition Wax or Extra Gloss Protection for this very reason.

Does Autoglym go off?

None of the Autoglym products we stock have an expiry date, and should last as long as you need. This does rely on you storing them in an appropriate manner.

How long does Autoglym wax last?

While the wax itself doesn’t have a shelf life, and if stored correctly can last in its tin indefinitely, once you’ve applied the wax it’ll last for about 6 months before you need another coat!

Is it bad to wax your car with Autoglym too much?

Any wax, if applied too often and too thickly, can look grubby and cloudy. It won’t damage your car, but it won’t look great either, so make sure to only wax when you need to. We’d recommend not waxing a completely new car as that can cause damage to the factory clear coat. Make sure you follow the correct procedure when waxing your car and you shouldn’t have any issues.
