Catch Honda At The Goodwood Festival Of Speed

If you’re going to be in attendance at the Goodwood Festival Of Speed in June, be sure to take the time to swing by the Honda stand as you’ll be sure to experience not only one of the most innovative and engaging stand designs seen in recent years and a whole host of celebrity appearances but also the chance to get behind the wheel of the brand new Civic Type-R.

This, of course, isn’t everything which will be on offer from Honda at the event which takes places between June 25th and 28th 2014 at Goodwood House, West Sussex and Philip Crossman, Managing Director at Honda UK has recently commented: “Honda as a brand has a strong racing heritage and Goodwood is the perfect foil for that. It’s not just road cars and bikes you’ll see racing up the famous hill, we’ve got the car that won our first ever F1 grand prix, we’ve got the most successful car in F1 history and we’ve got one of the most successful GP bikes ever. It’s going to be fantastic!”

For those Honda fans out there, you’ll be pleased to know that at the event, you’ll be able to feast your eyes upon:

• The new Jazz
• The new CR-V
• The new Civic Sport
• The new Civic Type-R
• The new NSX

On Thursday as part of the Moving Motor Show, visitors to the festival will get the opportunity to experience a passenger lap in the brand new Civic Type-R as well as being able to get behind the wheel of the new Civic Sport and CR-V.

Perhaps the most exciting part of the festival for Honda fans, however, is the fact that, with 2015 marking 50 years since they first won a Grand Prix, their historic F1 car, the RA272 which took Richie Ginther to victory at the Mexico Grand Prix in 1965 will also be racing up the hill for all to see!
