LongLife IV FE is a Fuel Economy engine oil of the latest generation for fuel-efficient petrol and diesel engines with particulate filters. From model year 2021 onwards the use of VW 508.00/ 509.00 OW-20 is mandatory for all vehicles, which have been filled with this specification in the factory fill. This regulation is independent from the country individual service interval.

This oil features a particularly low ash content and has a reduced high-temperature viscosity (HTHS) this results in properties such as fuel-saving.

The oil is coloured with a green marker, because it is not backwards compatible and can be used only with approved engines.
