As engines have advanced, becoming both smaller and lighter, so too has engine oil. Honda recommends using 0W-20 oil in petrol engines, for this very reason. It’s been developed with these engines in mind.

0W-20 oil is designed for optimal performance at low temperatures and high temperatures. It’s created to deal with the stresses of more modern engines.
